    1. Hi Hiro, thank you for your question and what important it is!! This is my personal opinion and I will also let my friends (mums and dads) to add if they don’t agree with me. But here we go: I don’t think there is one way to motivate kids since each of them are different. Like you and I, we are not the same and even with siblings (even twins) the personality and children character might vary. In my case, I have 2 kids, one boy and one girl. Following my experience from childhood, I am trying to show my kids that studying is like brushing your tooth, if you do it every day, it becomes a routine so you could avoid cavities. Studying is same, if you do it every day, then when you have a test, presentation, etc. it is easier than leaving everything to the last minute and pretending that in 1 day you would be able to study the whole book or lesson… that is a BIG cavity if you compare with no brushing your tooth! One of my friends is using a punishment/reward method, which consist in threating his kids to study or they would lose access to iPad, Social Media, etc. It seems to work for him, but I don’t agree with the approach. That doesn’t mean that he is wrong and I am right, like I said, we are all different ways and we are doing our best to help our kids in life! Please let me know what you think and if there is anything else that you like to discuss further! Thank you again Hiro and hope to hearing from you soon!
      Cheers,
      Gaston
